冷氣團持續發威，中市近3個月發生10多起一氧化碳中毒案，消防局長蕭煥章25日表示，多數是居家燃氣熱水器安裝錯誤或使用不當，民眾如有疑慮，可撥打「119」申請「反碳風水師」服務，消防人員將到府免費檢查。
蕭煥章指出，市府今年提供有一氧化碳中毒潛勢場所申請遷移或更換燃氣熱水器補助方案，每戶最高可補助新台幣3000元，經訪視符合補助資格者，消防局會協助申請。
消防局指出，最常見的安裝錯誤是屋外型熱水器裝設在屋內或加蓋陽台、半密閉自然排氣型熱水器未裝設排氣管及熱水器裝設不當排氣管等狀況，若環境通風不良，容易蓄積一氧化碳引發意外，呼籲委託合格承裝業者遷移到屋外，或更換強制排氣型熱水器，以降低危險。
